Not sure if what I have is what is on your rig. PM snfexpress, I'd bet Michael and Kat would know for sure.

I believe they are single pin bayonette automotive bulbs.

OEM #1156 single bayonet. If you want brighter yet you could go to #1295 but I have had trouble finding them locally.

Yes, nothing to it. All you need are tools (phillips or square drive), perhaps wire nuts/tape, and sealant.

I would be hesitant to increase the candle power of incandescent bulbs. I did this, unknowingly, and it caused my porch light fixture to melt, starting me on this whole LED journey. It is a BA15S, single contact.

I guarantee if you get an LED for that scare light from Michael & Kat it will be much brighter and will probably the last time you have to climb that ladder to change the bulb

I replaced the porch light with one of these: http://www.rvupgradestore.com/Motion...-p/55-1000.htm
It mounted directly in the original holes from the original light. Works slick. A small led flashes blue to let you know the lights motion detector is armed, and another green to let you know your 12v system is charged enough for the light to operate. The motion detectors, one on each end, can be adjusted for sensitivity.
Oh, and on the caution about increasing incandescent bulb wattage, the replacement scare lights in stainless steel are shipped with the #1295 bulb I mentioned in an earlier post. I just figured I'd sand and repaint my rusty scare lights and upgrade the bulbs when I remove them for service.

When I had to replace a bulb on mine several years ago, the fixture gasket had rotted so I replaced the gasket with some of the craft foam sheets they sell at Michaels.
