Looks good, think I might try it in a couple of places. The hooks look sturdy, where did you buy materials ?

I think they’re the same thing. I had to bend the hook part with a pair of pliers so that it would be a little closer to the wall and not stick out quite as much.

I got the material from Lowe’s. So far so good it does feel sturdy and I feel the key is letting the sticky pads set up overnight before putting any weight on it.

Back to the drawing board! … FYI, in a nut shell, the law of gravity outweighed the ability for the adhesive pads to hold.
After about 2-3 weeks I recently noticed that 4-5 of the sticky pads had come loose. It seems to be very weight limited. I might try and replace the adhesive tape with a new piece. Hopefully it will hold up better. When I originally put them on I noticed part of the sticky part didn’t seem to cover the full area like I thought it should. If that don’t continue to hold then I’ll be forced to use some another way to fasten the hangers or shelf.
Some had mentioned they were going to try this, I thought I would share this new information so you would know what you might be up against!
The wall board on the sides is probably too thin for supporting it with screws. It would be too easy to push through to the other side of the wall board. One thought I had is to use a glue adhesive. Maybe that would be stronger. I’m open for new ideas or suggestions.
Thanks!

You might try drilling a hole through the plastic hook plates and the wall and installing a small molly. I'd think it woul be enough to keep the glue pad from pulling away.

Bill - could you use the super-hold velcro? We found it works well for other mods and picked it up at either Wal-Mart or Lowes.

I added extra hangers like I started out with and also replaced the sticky foam on each of them that fell off. It seems that the coverage area on each one is better now plus with the extra hooks they haven’t fell anymore. I might do what you did though because that is by far a better way. I didn’t see any of those holders when I was up there but I may take another look. Thanks for sharing what you did!

I went to our local Lowe's and Home Depot but couldn't find the right size shelving to fit......it was either way too wide or too narrow : (

I bought 1 shelf and made 2 cuts with a hack saw, that’s how I came up with the right size.

Mine started out as a 5' x 20" shelf and I cut 2 pieces to make the two shelves.

We have a slight change from the shelves, we installed one shelf near the bottom and then added these plastic drawers. Under the shelf is storage we use for the vacuum hoses.
