Too Close for comfort
Let me get this stright. We are in Roundup, MT parked in a city park along the Musselshell River with no hook ups, only a 101 yesterday, but lots of trees and a breeze. Must be room for over 50 rigs here. Only been 3 rigs here the last 4 days so we have lots of room. About 45 minutes ago a M/H from NJ. pulls in and where does he park? Why 20 feet away of course! People if you come West to visit please be aware that you do NOT need to fear a Indian attack. You do not need to "circle the wagons" unless you are at Q.

Yeah....that's *exactly* what they told Custer.
Maybe being from NJ 20 feet equates to 20 acres for the rest of us?

Little Big Horn Battle Site 120 miles down the road. I'm thinking I may empty a clip tonight and tell them I repelled the attack.
BTW: Custer's troops are camped a few miles from Little Big Horn. His scouts return and tell Custer they have good news and bad news. Custer tell them let's have the bad news first. The scout says that every Indian for miles around are just over the hill and they will surely all die. Custer thinks a bit and then asks for the good news. The scout replies "at least we don't have to go back to South Dakota"

Maybe they were lonely and wanted to be friends, share your campfire with him, invite them over tonight and have a cold one with them. 101 isn't to bad it was 114 at Palm Springs yesterday.

bigmurf, That has happened to me before also. I just figured they wanted to be next to a nice looking rig. Also, kind of like going into a restaurant and instead of putting people in every other booth or every other table, everyone is crowded next to each other. So much for a romantic dinner....Can't make it too hard on the waitresses/waiters I guess!!!!!
I know Wayne, I should eat somewhere other than the Waffle House......LOL

I would put on face masks and go over to introduce yourselves.. Thank them for parking next to you when they could have just parked far away like everyone else does to avoid you. Tell them "it" really is not contagious and you never understand why people keep their distance.

bigmurf, we feel your pain.....This has happened to us so many times.
You can use your Sirius Boombox as a weapon....as they're setting up just turn the volume to high while the opera lady sings her lungs out ....works for us, sometimes.

I feel your pain. This used to happen to us while we were boating. You pull into a huge cove. You are the only one anchored in 20 acres of open water. Then a boat comes in and almost hits yours throwing out the their anchor. Why OH Why???

Just remember that this may be their first time out under the stars and were afraid of the big sky country. HEHE!
