Frame Rust
How many of you have gone after frame rust with a rust converter and paint touch up?

The only thing I did was scrape, prime and put two coats of Rustoleum on the axles.

If you use a product like POR15 remember it is a 3 step process, Marine Clean (a grease and dirt remover), Metal Ready (dilute muratic acid, a metal etcher) and then paint with POR15. If you don't use as directed you might as well throw your money in the black tank. If used properly POR15 is as durable a product as you can find.

You just reminded me of what I need to do today. We have been setting on the bay for over a year, and everything is rusted. The aluminum panels on the lower outside have holes around the self tapping screws from galvanic corrosion. I use a phosphorus acid product to clean and treat rust, then power wash, and top with a coat of Restore. Restore treats the rust, and leaves an acrylic coat on the metal. We plan on moving to another park on September 1. Just too much upkeep here.

We also keep after it with Rustoleum...not a difficult chore.

Keeping everything in tip top shape means higher retained value and fewer troubles down the road. Pride in ownership is a wonderful thing.
