Just a suggestion, make sure your travel companion has a FULL set of keys. Al and I both have a full set of keys, that way, heaven forbid, one of us loses theirs, we still have a full set. Might even consider storing a door lock key and a 751 somewhere in your tow vehicle (hidden of course).
Good luck and safe rides home.
And enjoy Fredericksburg, one of our favorite places, enjoy some of that GRAND German food for us!! MMMMMM

751 for ours also. I have a purple plastic springy thingy key chain on mine to make it harder to lose. And I keep an extra set of keys in the truck glove compartment just in case.

The CH751 key will open the compartments on 90% of the RV's on the road. After looking my compartment over when I first purchased my Montana, I didn't like the combination of the accessability to my comparments and the laundry chute hatch for giving someone easy access to my coach. I ordered 3 locks from Camping World all keyed the same with 2 keys for each lock and I put a hasp with a thumb turn catch on the laundry chute. I feel much safer leaving my rig in a parking lot knowing not everyone has a key to my rig.

I know that the storage door keys are all the same. But mine don't have any number on them. I guess after almost nine years the numbers have worn off.

Yep! 751 is the choice.
But, if you need to get in before you find one, find a flat piece of tin that will slide into the lock. Trim about a 30 degree angle on it. place it in with the point up. Take the pressure off the lock by pressing in on the door and wiggle that piece of tin violently and if done correctly the lock will open. Same to close it.
So much for Walmart parking lots. Works on any lock of the similar type.
Edited: That technique is for the basement doors only.
Double Edit: A key is not a prerequisite for opening a basement door. All that is needed is a large screwdriver, or flat bar, or nail puller, or crow bar, or claw hammer, or tire iron. Any one of which would be carried by someone intent on getting into your basement. The above mentioned tools will also open your RV entrance door.
Now a Rottweiler or Doberman "may" (note MAY) be a deterrent.
So, I would guess the question is, how much damage do you want to incur. Missing something from the basement? Or, Missing something from the basement and having to replace the door, and possibly r
epair the framing?

Someone in a prevous thread this week said they replaced all of their locks with barrel key locks (I think that was the name) That is a way of keeping the Wally World people and etc's out by the use of the 751 keeys! Think I'll consider this and stash a door key and a barrel key somewhere I can get at it IF I loose my normal set!!

Rondo,
Why go to the expense? Anyone, yourself included, can open those doors using a screwdriver as a pry. The locks are only there to keep an honest person honest.

You're probably right Orv but with the barrel key set up they look harder to open anyway!

Brian ... you can get the locker keys (751) at your dealer. For the entry door, if you take the screws off the black portion of the door handle you will find the number of your door key and an 800 number to call to get a replacement. I know this because we lost all the keys on the day we took delivery of our '03 Montana and just last month I lost my keys to our '07 Montana. (If I could remember what I did with the phone number, I'd give it to you ... sorry.)
Good luck!

The ch751 key is a very popular key in a number of other industries: sheds, gas pumps, utility bodies for trucks(I think). My point being, you don't have to go to an rv dealer to get them. A hardware store or locksmith shop probably have them also. If you're that concerned about someone breaking into your compartments, IMHO, an alarm system with sensors on the compartment doors should work. Jim
