Electricity Payback
Well, Hanna is sitting at my brother's house in Central Massachusetts, 20 miles west of Worcester. Last evening around midnight, the storm came through. We lost power from midnight until 4:50 p.m today. After several hours of no electricity and a well stocked refrigerator, I cranked up the Onan 5500 LP and fed an extension cord to the refrigerator. After all, he had been supplying me with 110 for the refer since I got there, so the least I could do is repay the favor. Right?
Just goes to show you that what goes around, comes around.
By the way, yesterday temperatures in New England broke some records. Nashua, NH, recorded 101 degrees. Several areas in Mass. had records broken in the mid to high 90's.
We are in Newport, RI, again enjoying the nice Narragansett Bay breezes. We are staying with my son next to the Fort Adams State Park. No hookups there so Hanna stayed in Mass.
