If you need enough to fill tires, I have a pancake type that does a very good job. It's a little heavy, but my smaller compressor that I use for finish work does not have enough for tires at all. I don't think I'd want to haul the extra weight and would consider a 12v model for traveling.

As far as a 120 volt, I love my Sears compressor, but my wise friend Ozzie has a point. Harbor Frieght has a great unit in the 12 volt mode.

I have a Black and Decker Air Station that runs on both 12 volt and 120volt. I got it at Lowes. I have used this compressor for both the car tires and the Montana tires.

I found the item on the Black and Decker web site under power tools. It is the ASI300 Air Station.

I also have the Black and Decker, it even has a automatic shut off, just set the pressure you want and it will shut off somewhere in that range usually within a couple of pounds.

In the range you asked about, I just picked up a Craftsman 3-gal, 125 psi to replace the 1-gal, 90 psi unit I had. The 1-gal worked on the 80 psi Missions, but took some work to get it done. My hope is that the 3-gal tank will do better on the 105 psi G614's. It does fit in the basement and is light enough to handle.

Once again, some really great input and direction for me. I like the idea of the 12v and 120v combo and the 3 gal unit Stiles mentioned. Will also look at the Sears line of compressors. Tks everyone. Dennis
