Shop Manual for Montanas?
If you buy a car or truck, you can buy a big thick shop manual from the dealer so you can perform proper maintenance and r & r any part without screwing up. Does Keystone publish a shop manual for Montanas?
Thx, Andy

No, Keystone dropped the ball in this area... They only have that little plastic bag with tons of individual little pamphlets. Not the best...

Surely you jest. Rv's ain't diesel trucks. None of them have shop manuals. That is why this site is a must for the serious Montana owner.

Stiles is absolutely right. This forum is the best interactive shop manual in the world... period.

I wish Chiltons would put out a set of manuals for these things. It would be a great help.

Keystone does not even publish a decent owner's manual, much less a shop manual.

Is this a Keystone issue? Or are the other manufacturers guilty as well?

Everybody's guilty - a bi-product of little or no industry regulations or oversight. The Montana Owner's Manual is downloadable from a topic at the bottom of these Forums under "Favorite and Helpful Links".
http://keystone-montana.com/index.ht...l&location=any Once there click on customer service and scroll toward the bottom.
There is a very good Montana maintenance schedule that I think Glenn prepared. It's available from the home page under "Montana Maintenance Checklist.

I'll respecfully disagree that "everybodys guilty". My last SOB had a notebook binder 4" thick with all of the owners manuals, installation manuals for each item and yes....wiring diagrams!!!.
Outside the book was a approximately 80-90 page book explaining everything from setting up to tearing down to how to winterize. Each item was step by step.
Also included was a 24/7 phone number for service, repairs, tech support and dealers phone numbers and addresses.
Not all are the same.

Keystone.
All the manufacturers...mostly Dometic have manuals for their products. Keystone needs one for the trailer itself.

Ooops - my bad. I should have spoken from experience only and said "my previous RV mfgrs were all guilty".

Before my 3500RL I owned a Winnebago class C. Their manuals and telephone support were outstanding. I only wish they built 5th wheels.
