Catching up,
Yes, we have to take a course in WV, certificate must be in possession of boat operator. Model is a 245 cruiser - sleeps 4, 5.0 liter Alpha engine (220 hp). and I did figure that towing around a king size mattress behind it would seriously degrade mph. I am sure we will have fun with it nonetheless. Waynem, the folding boat wasn't an acceptable option for DW, she had to have the cabin below deck. Here is a picture of the new addition to the family that the dealer sent me:

Looks nice there buddy!
Pooor Monty is gonna get nuthin but dust on the roof now! With a cabin cruiser you won't have any reason to step on shore anymore except to get more beer.

There went that reason too, Brad, I don't drink alcohol (well I guess I could be convinced to buy some iced tea!!). Keep in mind...BOAT is to supplement Monty, not replace it. I would have a major mutiny on board if I told DW and DD's that their annual three weeks at Myrtle was in jeopardy!! I am hoping to find some campgrounds (close) that are on a lake with dock facilities, then I would be extremely happy. There are a couple in WV that we will be looking at closely in the next couple of months. Regardless, the average 7-8 weeks in the Monty each year is in no danger!!

Bingo,
Plenty of water down here. If you have a mind to park the boat when you are not using it, maybe arrangements could be made to store it in my drive way!! :-)
For your DW, blindfold her!

Nice boat but remember that when the draft of your boat exceeds the depth of the water....then you are surely aground.
Food for thought.

Just remember Bingo that trying to maintain the Monty and the bayliner may put you in the redneck house boat per the picture. I just dont recommend trying to ski behind that set up.

Nice boat! Thanks for the picture.
Now I won't have to look in the paper to see who it was that won the WV lottery.
