UPDATED--HELP....A/C control board wiring
Just received everything to put the comfort control center in the monty. have some questions. when i pulled the old board out i found it to have 4 wires. 2 for the 12 volt and 2 for the furnace. the new one has 6 wires, the 2 new ones say load shed. do i need to worry abnout these at all, as it looks i will wire the same way as it is presently, just the extra wires are throwing a wrench in the gears for me. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I might think the other two wires might be for a second A/C or such to keep both units from trying to start at the same time.

Somewhere in the Forum archives, there are detailed instructions for this task. All I can remember now, is that if you have the right parts, it is not a complicated job. Try doing some searches, or wait a bit, and someone with a better memory than mine may come along with answer you seek.

Any wiring diagram? Could you post it, if any?

UPDATE- Got the unit wired, but am now faced with the screen reading EE, i am going to assume it is error, but not sure, Dometics paperwork does not give any explanations on anything other than what the buttons do and how to operate the unit. so i am at a loss right now, just keep trying to plug along and hope it works someday.

Try killing the power to it, and see what it reads then.

There are some dip switches that have to be set to match your units heating/cooling configuration.

Here is a link to the instructions posted on this Forum. http://www.montanaowners.com/forums/...=%2Cthermostat
The part you need to look at is towards the bottom of that page, and include photos.
The whole thread is many many pages long, it makes interesting reading if you have a few hours to spare, but I think this page has the information you need.

Thank you everyone for the help, got everything going friday afternoon, so we werent roasting over the weekend. I had everything wired correctly, just had an error on the unit that needed to be reset, then we were off and running again. the only thing i wish the CCC had that the remote had was the timer. but so far so good. again thanks
