We have been full timing since August 30, 2005 and love. Sold everything, well not everything since there is one storage unit full of stuff, and can't figure out why we ever accumulated so much stuff in our former life. Anyway, it's been wonderful so far. You meet the greatest people on the road.

Add us to the list as of 3/30/07. We had been in the 5er since April of '06, but would make occassional trips home. In fact the trips out kept getting longer and longer until the last one was 3 months. Then we said, why are we keeping a house that we don't live in?

Put us down too. We have been fulltiming it since November 2006 and plan to for a long time. Sold the stick/brick on April 27th 2007, but have actually been living in the Monty since Nov.

Well we sold our stick house Sept 06. However in 2005 we were only in the stick house 3 months. We just got tired of paying all that money for a empty house, elect, water house payments. So we are now living the life we wanted to, and its so much cheaper that a stick house. But don't forget you will not build no equity in Rv's. Living in a condo on wheels is really hard to explain to people who have never had the experience. As for placeing a number it would a 10. We are so blessed to have had this experience...GBY...
Add us to the list......

Glenn, would you please change ours from 1 yr to 6/05. We are right at the 2 yr mark and a date makes more sense. Thank you.

Yep, May 14, 2007 is my fulltime date. Today is my first full day. It was rainy and dark here this morning, so the birds let me sleep in til almost 9:00 a.m....:-) I took the CG manager to a plumbing place to purchase a drinking fountain for the pool area, then came back home. I unpacked a box of stuff, then took a break to sit with the "kids". Boy, this fulltiming is sure rough!!!LOL

We've been full time since July 1, 1999. Dread the day we can't hook it up anymore. We are looking for place with 3 seasons for when that day comes. Not looking very hard though. We do work in the summer, but it's close to our adult children and my grandsons. So we have the best of both worlds. Most days a 10, even if something breaks or we get lost, we always see something we wouldn't have seen had we not missed our turn. Judy

Don hates to think of the day he can't hook up anymore, we are looking for someplace with 3 seasons, maybe New Mexico, but not looking hard. Judy

Maria & Dave Russell, 1 year. We rate it a 10. We're workamping at Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, 2 hours from our Grandson and 2 hours from Maria's elderly Mother. We're headed for the Balloon Festival in October and maybe Mexico for the winter. The only downside is fuel cost.

We have not stayed in our stick house since Oct. of 2005, so technically, I guess that's when we started full timing. We have just sold all of our extra "stuff" and stored the important family things. Now we are in the process of doing some cosmetic things to the house to get it on the real estate market and hope to be on the road by June 15.
We have been volunteering for 3-4 months a year since 2003 and really like the RV lifestyle. One of the biggest rewards is all the very nice people we get to meet. At the moment we can't even think about when we will quit full timing.

We spend our first night in the Tana tonight, and so we begin the fulltimmer life. Apollo wouldn't come on today, called dealer and he tried to tell me that there was a wall seitch that sitvhed from fireplace to microwave. Thought he was crazy. pulled the plastic frame and looked behind and the plug had come loose. reinserted and voila, Nuked soup. What a life.

PParamore, nuked soup - what a hoot! We love our Apollo - made some of the best muffins I have ever made! We moved into the Monty on 14 May and are working on emptying the house. Haven't done ANYTHING at the house except work, so I guess our start date is 14 May. Although we leave Miss Monty every morning and go to the stick house to get it ready to sell/rent, we ARE full-timers. Just our dog, Ollie, and our kitty, Sam. They are happy as clams! Hope to see/meet you somewhere around the states!

Well, the time has arrived, actually on the 25th. WE BECAME FULLTIMERS. Yes sir re. We have been in the Ft Richardson Fam Camp since last Thursday. I will admit, this will take some getting used to, but so far we love it. Have to take Tana back to dealer next week to have ew awning fabric installed and have an awning arm replaced. My first, and probably not last, mistake. I think I forgot to loosen one of the catches and bent an arm. Oh well, that one is on me....Learning the electric circuits is big thing right now as we still need heat at night. Just using the gas furnace in the am to take the chill off, then shut it down and use electric space heater.
Cathy has been busy "setting up" the inside the way she wants it. She has already swapped the recliners and couch in different places.
CG has FHU plus 30 amp power. getting used to dumping when necessary. Also have wifi in food court. great!!!!.
Will write more when able

To answer the rest of the questions. 1 month Just put home in Michigan on the market.
rate fulltiming as a 5 to a 7 miss my wood shop
I plan to get a permanent home in the near future in the Florida panhandle. Can't live without the shop forever.
