The 3400RL is home
We finally got it home. The big beautiful 2007 3400RL is sitting in the driveway!! And now I have to go to work tomorrow, for 24 hours and can't play with it . The PID took 6 hours and we all are soooooo tired, but so happy. Nothing was found wrong with the rig, except that Keystone put the wrong GVRW and Axle label on the side of the trailer . Keystone had 14000 GVRW and 6000 lbs Axles, when it should have been 15500 GVRW with 7000 lbs Axles. I crawled under and found that we had the 7000 lbs axles . So the dealer called and talked to Keystone and found out that they had 1500 or so labels on trailers that were sent out in the last month or so, and that they will be reprinting the correct labels and sending them out. So now we just have to wait for the correct label and it will all be perfect.

Good for you!!!! Enjoy that big beautiful 2007 3400RL. Too bad you have to work tomorrow.
Congratulations and lots of luck! We know how tired you must feel after a 6 hour PDI.

Congratulations! Glad they are willing to change the label for you.
Well, might be a 24 on day tomorrow, but is it followed by your 4 days off perhaps?

Congrates on your new rig watch your head though that bedroom slide.... will sneak up on you when you least expect it! Ditto on the label, Just wonder why Keystone didn't get rid of the old ones when they changed the axles.... But then that would make sense.....

Fire5er, congrats on the rig - you will love it! We had the same issue on our 2007 3400 when we picked it up last month. Keystone sent the replacement labels to our dealer, but they were the same incorrect labels! Hopefully, next set of labels will show correct info for the 7,000 lb axles. Enjoy!

Karl, congratulations!!! I am really envious, as we have not gotten ours yet, but the dual pane windows slowed things up along with the fact that they sent us one trailer, htat was totally wrong and LaDonna ha to re-order. Supposed to be here this week......we'll see.
Happy you found no problems on the unit. Are all the new ones comeing with 7000 pound axles now? we were told that they were only coming with 6000 lb. Do you have anymore information?

Thanks to all for the congrads. Now we really feel like one of the Montana family members.
Brad...Unfortunately it's also only 24 hours off. I work for the federal government (DON) and they are still living in the dark ages. But I have been doing it for 30 years now so it's all good.
Rick...Sorry to hear the mix-up in your order. Yes all the new rigs over 34 foot are coming with 7000 lbs axles. But to be sure I crawled under to check. Each axle is both stamped with it rating and there is a sticker on the axle also. On the sticker if you see D60 that indicates 6000 lbs axles, and if you see D70 that for the 7000 lbs axles. What a class act LaDonna and her organization Tacoma RV is!! She stepped right up and called Keystone and got our issues fixed. Both ours and our friends trailers were detailed by her service center and ready for our walk-thru. And they had no issue with us doing our own PDI after the walk-thru with the Tech.. Then the Tech was right there to fix anything we found wrong. But all we could find was a screw missing on the wheel skirt, and a 1/4" of caulking missing on the roof. Thanks Tacoma RV! Good luck Rick, and please let us know when you get your home.
Karl
