WATER LEAK ???
Discovered a water leak , which appears to be coming from the Bathroom area on our Mountaineer 319BHD ( NEW COACH ). It is small in volume, and was only discovered as I was breaking camp and noticed a small patch of wet dirt under the belly of the rig, when I opened the basement door ( driver side ) a drip of water hit my hand, the carpet of the basement was wet, Water was dripping from above the door – along the wall. Has to be coming from the SHOWER ??

Some people say the connection between shower and pipe leak. I see water on the floor between my shower and sink cabnet even though I used extra calking on glass and metal around shower. They say not to use it on the serround because you need to let air get back there and dry things out,it will sweat like your windows.Try pulling the two screws from the front panel of the shower and wrap a paper towel around the pipe take your shower and see if it gets wet.

Ours was leaking their periodically and I would get a wet basement. I put some caulking on the enclosure frame where it joins together at the base back against the wall. I could see water coming through the frame below the glass if you hit the enclosure with the shower head.
Not sure if that fixed it yet, because we got in the habit of making sure the shower doesn't run against the glass in that corner.

We had a similar leak that showed up in the basement. Came from the shower drain. I merely reached up through the cutout area to the shower drain (after cutting away a little of the subflooring) and tightened the ring that holds the shower drain pipe to the shower drain. Did this four years ago and haven't had a drip since.

I got that one too Orv,
I think all the drains that are set in that plumbers putty must move around alot in transport and work the putty out. My kitchen continously needs tightened.

I had the same leak at the shower drain and it was easily fixed by tightening. I also had a leak at the slip connections on the shower drain that were also easily fixed by tightening.
