Additional Taillights
I'm always concerned when I'm carrying the bikes on the back of the RV.
When I'm using the bike cover it seems as though the tail lights aren't visible to vehicles behind me.
So I've added two additional tail lights up higher and more visible.

Good move. Not unusual to see vehicles with something on the back blocking taillights and, more importantly, brake lights.

That's a good mod that one needs to do it adding "stuff" on the back of the RV blocking the tail lights....that is illegal.

Did you run your wires up through the wall, Or did you have to go inside the camper and then back out to your additional lights?

Another Easy way to add Light is the LED light strips that are made to go under the truck tailgates. I added one to my Cargo carrier that mounts into the hitch. It plugs right into the 4 pin plug on the back of the rig.

i was thinking of a third brake light like on a car or truck. would not have turn signals but should see the brake light better. any thoughts on this idea

It can be done. It would require a 3rd brake light converter module since the 7 pin wiring does not have a 3rd brake light wire. Would mean connecting the module to both brake lights and the 3rd brake light.
But that does not make the taillights and turn signals visible if you are hauling something on the back of the trailer.

We did the same thing. I got my lights from etrailer.com. They worked great.

I was also concerned about bikes obscuring lights. I came up with a bit different solution. This set up is attached to the rear of the bike rack, and is VERY bright. Bought the flexible light strip on Amazon and bought an aluminum angle. Bolted the angle to the rack. Light strip has adhesive and I used additional zip ties as well.

I to am an e bike carrier on the back of my fiver Even with the correct carrier I found it beneficial to add two ratchet straps from the bikes to the frame of the fiver. It pulls the bikes down tighter to minimize bounce
