Samsung Freezer
2019 3791RD - Samsung residential refrigerator w/chest freezer on bottom. When pulling open the freezer door it will not open all the way. The left side is stopping while the right side is not stuck. We did find a small ball bearing on the floor of the freezer. Assuming it came out of the draw glide on the side. Any ideas on how to fix without going to a dealership would be greatly appreciated.

Need an appliance repair, not the dealership. Based on my research for other purposes, there are four screws that hold the door on that need to be removed, after which you couldd service the slides.

This definitely looks like what I need to do. Only I can’t get the freezer door open wide enough to get the basket out. Another ball bearing has fell out. Thanks for the tip.

They were out of stock. I found another place that has them in stock supposedly. We’ll see thanks for all of your help.

Before you get too deep into replacing things, try grabbing the door and pulling it to extend it fully. The extension hinges "creep" a bit over time and don't allow full extension. Cure is just to muscle it out and then it's good for awhile.

I have a 2016 375 FL and have had numerous problems with our Samsung residential refrigerator.
In July I ordered a similar Samsung from Lowes with the same door configuration. And it fit right in! Took the doors off of the old fridge and had it carried right out of the door. Then took the doors off the new fridge and carried it in the door. The factory brace fit right on and for $1500.00 we have a new fridge!!!

Thanks ACKLM8, that was the first thing I did. That is when the ball bearings started falling out. Now the freezer will barely open. We do have a new slide rail ordered.

We have not been able to get the freezer drawer out more than about 6 inches at this time.
