3911 FB Replacement Mattress
Just bought our 3911 FB and it doesn't have a mattress. Any suggestions? Seller said that it could go with a Queen or King, would fit both. I am seeing that a RV King is 72x80, is that what I should go with? It is wider at the bottom than the head of the bed, were these campers sold with both?
I have searched alot and apologize if I sound like an idiot with the questions...LOL
I will share whatever I learn here to help others.
Thanks!

Whatever fits best. Your trailer came with a queen standard and king optional https://www.rvusa.com/rv-guide/2017-...3911fb-tr29480. I would provide the dimensions of your bed platform with some overhang at the end with the bedroom slide in and discuss buying one with those dimensions with your local mattress dealer.

Montana provides either King or Queen mattress on every RV. The plywood base is larger for a King sized bed. If downsizing from a King to a Queen, you may want to trim the plywood to fit the queen. If up-sizing, then you need a new piece of plywood.

LilRed - we bought a queen foam mattress from Sams for our previous RV and we had them move it over to the Monte when we bought it. We also added a topper at some point. I have also upgraded the pistons for the bed lift because the mattress is heavy. We wanted a queen so we could walk around the bed easier.

We are used to a king at home. Just could not handle the king in the 5er. Just to little room on the sides to move. Got a queen from the local furniture store where we could try it out. Didn’t take long to get used to the smaller size. So much better.

Our Wilderness Montana RV King is due here any day - can't wait! Bought it online at wildernessrvmattress.com. Made in Arizona. It is a hybrid memory foam/pocketed coil mattress.

We have the same mattress in our Montana that we have in our house. We can go from house to RV and sleep comfortable without having to get used of the change..

It sounds like the OP has made his choice and ordered what he thought best.
Just for an FYI, here's a chart showing the sizes and the proper names for each mattress used in RV's (Disclaimer: There could be even more varieties not shown here):
