Best TPSM to buy?
I was already to purchase a TST 507 TPSM system but when I did some research I found another system that many say is better. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...R855NU1UB&th=1
Thoughts?

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I just know that the TST 507 is well proven. Works great for us. As long as a system accurately reports psi and temp in a timely fashion it should serve you well. I just know the one I had before the TST didn't quite make it...way to many false alarms.

We have been using TST for about 12 years. Has worked great for us. What makes the other one better?

I couldn't really see anything that made it better but there was lots of positive comments about how well it worked and how easy it was to see the screen of the monitor, price was $100 cheaper too. When I read the reviews on Amazon regarding each unit it seemed there were more negative reviews for the TST unit then there was for the other unit. Jury still out on which one I get.

I can't say if it is better or not. I bought the EEZ-RV TPMS when I first got my Monte. It has worked flawlessly. I have 10 sensors on it, 5 for the truck including spare, and 5 for the Monte including the spare. I did find that the spare on the Monte would drop off occasionally until I added the repeater, but since then, I've had no problems with it.
Here's the one I have and it is less expensive.

TST 507 for us - mainly due to recommendations from this and other forums. Ours has worked flawlessly. DW wanted to know "what's wrong!?" when display alarmed when we went from hot highway to driving into a popup rain shower and the tires lowered 3 psi quickly enough to throw an alarm. I've even been surprised by the solid link between the display and the sensors the single time I forgot to turn the repeater on during our return trip home. I'm sure other brands work as well, but we are happy with ours. Hopefully you are as well with whatever you decide upon.

The only faults I have found with my TST system is how clunky it is to program and the visibility of the monitor screen in bright daylight. I'm an old retired Information Systems manager/programmer so I may look at things a little differently than the standard user. Having said all that, I really like the system for how reliably it functions in monitoring mode and would recommend it.

Papa: The power switch in mine went bad and just ordered a replacement control head. The new displays are much brighter, enough that I can still see the display with my sunglasses on. TechNo RV was just having a sale on TSTs.

My TST died last year, DW got us a GUTA this year, love the solar and ability to see all the tires at once, my old TST cycled to each tire individually and hard to read with sunglasses on, guta is very easy to see, bright

TST-507 already saved me on a blowout and potential damage to my trailer.

Most people buy what is best for them or what someone recommended. They recommended it because it works. For a TST there are several that will work. Read up on them and choose the one that suits your needs and pocketbook.

Used the original TST 507 with monochrome screen for 9 years.. jist upgraded the screen to the new color one and replaced the sensors .. still working but wanted new ones
The color screen with sun shield is way way way better to read.. it also has a rechargeable lithium battery and will operate for many days between charges..
This gives you a wire free mount and is recharged via standard USB cord
The new sensor ( not flow thru ) are very close to the 3 tire gauges I use.. within 1 PSI on all six sensors..I run two on my truck rear tires since truck doesn’t have built in TPMS
TST customer service is outstanding .. if ever needed
Initial setup and programming took 5 minutes for all six sensor and setting the low and high pressure limits I wanted to run with
I also recommend getting the remote transmitter and wiring inside your RV.. the older TST system I used I didn’t get that and the new one I did and have zero sensor dropouts

tpms
I notice that nobody ever seems to mention the Pressure Pro system. We bought ours back in 2008, have transferred it between 4 new fivers, and am still using it to this day. Did replace the sensors once, since they were going on 8 years old (still working). The old display is a bit clunky, but it works for us. PP does have a new system that uses your smart phone for the display, but haven't gone there.....yet. Anyway, Pressure Pro for us.

I've had three systems over the years.
A SmarTire, designed for trucks and not very reliable.
A Hawkshead (at that time similar to TST models I think) prone to losing signal and false alarms. Also a PITA to program.
An EEZRV system. Extremely easy to program. (I had all 10 sensors programmed and labeled in 15 minutes). I've had nothing but praise for EEZ since I got it. I've replace batteries 3 times. They last a long time. Their support has been very good.

Used TST 507 nearly 40,000 miles. Very reliable.
Customer service is excellent.
