Replacement recliner
Does anyone have an idea of the best place to get a replacement recliner for our 2015 3791rd 5th wheel? The"leather" is peeling badly. Or a recommendation of what to replace it with?

Im sure that last statement is probably famous last words, lol

here is a source for direct replacement. We were looking for replacement furniture for our 2012 3750FL and this site was given to us by a Montana factory rep.

We've used RecPro a couple of times. The quality is good if not just a shade better than your OEM. They are fast at processing your order and getting it shipped to you. Ours have always come in a very sturdy packaged box(s). www.recpro.com

I should also add that we went with the oatmeal colored cloth at RecPro. I never did like the faux leather to start with.

Surprisingly, I found several options at Home Depot on line.

Another vote here for RecPro. We just replaced our powered loveseat that was already peeling badly in our rig after only four years. The oatmeal cloth is comfortable and attractive. Service was prompt, very well packed in 3 boxes.

We also have experience using RecPro and would recommend them. Shipping was fast and it came in sturdy, well packaged boxes. We purchased the duel reclining loveseat and find it to be of good quality and comfortable.

Find a LaZBoy seller and look at their wall hugger recliners. We replaced our OE junk within a year and these replacement recliners still look and operate like new 6 years later.
Be aware that not all versions will fit between how the slides and back wall are designed. With our 5er, I need to pull the backs of the recliners off for travel but that only takes seconds with putting them back on, seconds as well.
Not cheap but when you factor in use time vs. cost, not bad for real comfort that lasts.

I would go to a regular furniture store to shop. It will certainly be cheaper than "RV" furniture, and hold up at least as well. Just be sure it will fit through the door.

We ordered custom made stuff from Lambright in Topeka, Indiana. Not cheap but is Amish made right there in there factory. Backed our unit into their shop and they removed the old crap and installed the new.

We replaced our recliners with Stressless recliners. They are very comfortable, high quality leather and are much easier to secure for travel than the OEM recliners. Had to reattach the window treatments several times until we figured out to tie the beasts down.

We replaced our recliners with lazyboys. They have smaller units that can be used in RVs. One of the best investments we made.

We bought ours at a local furniture store. Carefully measured the space in the trailer and then bought recliners that fit that space. Very happy with our replacements.

We got our replacement theater seating from Lambright Custom Chairs near Shipshewana. I really like their center storage console and the customization to get everything just the way we wanted it. We took the RV in and they removed the old seating and installed the new. https://www.indianawoodcrafters.com/...omfort-chairs/

That so called ”leather” is actually plastic. It’s not even bonded leather. Mine is doing the same thing, pealing. Researching replacement and pricing is all over the board. I called the OEM manufacturer, a division of Lippert, and was told they no longer use that supplier because they had so many warranty claims and customer complaints. I agree with the other posts, it is really junk. We have looked at Lazy Boy but can’t justify the cost, not for an rv. Can’t beat their quality or warranty. We have Lazy Boy furniture at home and its great. I will check out the other posted recommendations. Thanks for the input from everyone.

We also use RecPro and bought 2 recliners for around $700 for the pair. The backs come off, so it is easy to get thru the door. Bought the tan vinyl.

I have a Lazy-boy swivel/rocker/recliner on back order. Ordered on sale at Thanksgiving or Xmas. Should arrive,... oh - right now but haven't gotten a call yet. I thought if it looked good I would order another and would arrive by June 1 when we head out. Isn't looking good for getting another in time!
