3781RL Washer Closet and Above Storage Ideas
We have a combo washer in the washer closet of our 3781. We are looking for ideas for storage in this closet i.e. something to place our detergent, Calgon, dryer sheets, etc as well as a laundry basket. We have found the over-the-toilet shelving that looks like it will do the trick but do not know. I wanted to keep some space for hanging coats.
Ideas?
Now, the cabinet above the closet (and the one above the pantry) is a total waste of space. Too big and too high (wife is 5') and by the way the flooring of the space cannot even hold something over 10 pounds as it sags from the weight. I think that if I cut a piece of 1/4" plywood to fit snugly in the space then we could store heavier items up there. I am guessing. It is frustrating as we cannot think of what to use these cabinets for.
Any ideas for these areas?

Blankets, pillow cases, and sheets. That's what you use the high shelving for. Seasonal clothing you are not currently using, but don't want to remove from the camper. Clean them out of your dresser drawers and hanging closet space.

Yes, the cabinet over the washer/dryer closet is kinda high..........we use it to store washer detergent pods and a dryer static cling sheet box with access by a foldable step stool. The one to the left store paper towels and napkins and equipment information. Ya, the fifth wheel trailer is the upper storage cabinets are high, but don't you love the ceiling height?

We ended up buying a over washer/toilet rack. Had to break off one support to get it flush behind dryer vent. Works pretty good. The above will be for unused things as suggested.

I put a wire shelf in the washer closet.
For the pantry, I put 1x2" boards under the shelf, then a plywood sheet on top of the shelf.
I also added wire pull out drawers in the pantry. I changed the 17" rails to 28" rails so the drawers pull all the way out so you can reach the things in the back.

I had a washer and dryer stacked in the closet. I'm not a full timer so I sold them and bought a single, combo unit for when I wanted to do a quick load instead of using a laundry provided in town or at an RV park. I then put shelves in over top of it for exactly what you are looking to do turning it into a linen / wash
I think for a girl I did a pretty darn good job.

We have found that model has so much storage we do not use. For example, the closet in the cab is used maybe 20% and many other cabinets are left empty.
