Gear Box Failure

The gear box on my driver side slide failed. The Slide Out would only move several inches. I checked all keystone owner manuals along with videos but was unable to locate the motor to operate a manual opening. Several different locations were suggested but none were correct. I began to suspect that the company failed to add the motor. It was then necessary to lie on top of the slide out to change the gear box which was not the most comfortable position as it took about an hour to compete the job We marked the wall as to the location of the chains and the supporting cable and returned them to the exact location and fortunately the slide out was square as being in it was not necessary to support and remained it the same position All is well now but not impressed with information from Keystone I should add this was on a 2018 Montana High Country 305RL
