I looked at a 3500 GMC 3500 denali. They built that thing about 6 inches too high.
I don't think my 5th wheel would be any where near level hooked up to that truck.
Very nice truck though. Have you hooked it up to a 5th wheel yet?

The 2022 GMC Denali 3500HD is 3/4 of an inch taller at the rear Corner than the 2021 GMC SLT 2500HD. There are still height adjustments on the Trailer Saver Air ride hitch BD 5 G. The TS is set at its highest point. It will be fine, in my opinion.
We also almost bought a 2022Chevy Silverado 3500HD, but the dealer had added $5,000 sticker next to the MSRP. I refuse to pay. However I'm so excited that I waited. I will be having to take the 2021 Montana to the dealer to have hot water heater fixed. We have owned dozens of RV's, never ever had an issue with a hot water heater.
Good Luck on you choice of Trucks.
Happy trails.

Is your new HD a dually? Also what fifth wheel hitch are you using?

I think that the DRW trucks are about 1” lower than the SRW trucks. Of course the hight of any truck is is actually what it drops down to after you are hitched up. . My DRW with my Montana hitched still does not have the over loads engaged although it does drop down a bit.
Happy and safe roads to you.

Yes it is a 3500HD Dually. The Montana rides on a Trailer Saver air-ride hitch, BD 5 G, Gross pin weight is 5,000 lbs, and a towing weight of 28,000 lbs. I have owned several Trailer Saver air ride hitches, I firmly believe the Trailer Saver is the best air ride hitch. The Montana floats on Air. I have owned Pullrite hitch I didn't like that hitch I have also owned B&W 5th wheel hitches also, Companion hitch and the B&W slider hitch. Thats what I would buy if not for the Trailer Saver brand. Good Luck with you choice.
The GM Trucks are still difficult to find, I finally got the GMC Denali 3500HD with dual rear wheels. I only buy GM Trucks.
Happy trails.

The bed of my 2020 Silverado 3500HD sits only slightly higher than my previous 2007.5 Silverado 2500HD (shown in my avatar). My High Country sits pretty level. When hitched, the back of the truck sits about 2-3 inches lower than unloaded.

2022 GMC 3500hd dually height.
Just went and measured the 2022 GMC, 3500hd, top of the bed is 57 1/2". If I remember correctly the 2022 3500hd dually, is about 1/2" taller than the 2021, 2500hd. Most all 3500hd's with dual real wheels, sag very little vs the 2500hd's. The 2021 had 10" from the 5th wheel to the truck bed clearance, the most clearance I have every had, normally my bed to 5th wheel was 6 to 7". The 2021 Montana 3762 BP sat almost level, on the 2021 2500hd. I suspect I will have to lower the Trailer Saver air ride hitch at least one hole, to be close to level. I will be taking the Montana back to the dealer to get the water heater working on propane, I did get the water heater to work on electric. The Norcold 4 door fridge, beeps displaying door? The fridge and stove work on gas, as well as the heating system. Oh well, thats what owing RV's do, always some little something. However imagine towing your stick house down the road at 75 mph!
Keep in mind GM dually's have smaller tires than our 2021 GMC SLT 2500hd
Happy trails.

The 2022 Denali, 3500hd is a dually, the 5th wheel hitch is a Trailer Saver BD 5 G.
Happy trails.
