2017 3921FB Monty Upgrades
We’ve now owned our Monty 4 years this month and have thoroughly enjoyed our adventures. Over the course of that 4 years we’ve made several changes and what we believe to be improvements and thought it was time to share with those on the Forum. Below are the additions or changes;
Montana Upgrades
Renogy rover 40amp 12v/24v dc MPPT solar charge controller (Amazon)
2 Renogy 100 watts solar expansion kits
connected in series (Amazon)
MORryde UO21-003 X Factor Performance Crossmembers (Amazon)
MORryde RE21-004 X Factor Performance Crossmembers (Amazon)
MaxxAir vent covers with EZ clip
Dometic CFX-50US Refrigerator/Freezer located in front compartment where generator would normally be.
RV SnapPad all 6 jacks and raised center and rear jacks for better clearance.
Bedroom Stair hand rail
Dometic BriskAir II 15k AC unit (3rd AC unit) in place of kitchen exhaust ceiling fan.
JR Products ACG25DPW-A Polar White Adjustable Ceiling Vents with 0.25" Collar
HEPA Filters in AC Returns
Opened collapsed return ducts with PVC
MicroAir EasyTouch Thermostat
MicroAir Easy Start 364
RVS-770613-213 Backup Camera System
Wired for continuous rear view with ignition on
LED Taillights also changed backup lights to Red LED Taillights for better visibility
Disc Brakes
TPMS
Podoy T-Style Door Holder Catch Latch...friction doors weaken over time
Installed bypass switch for hydraulic slide operation in the event InCommand system fails (it did) InCommand was also changed under warranty and included a hardwire system between the controller and BCM. Eliminating Bluetooth communication but retains Bluetooth for cell phone communication.
Magnum CSW-RS Inverter Remote
Winegard ConnecT 2.0 4G2 (4G LTE + WiFi Extender)
50 gal. Titan Diesel fuel tank RAM 3500
3500 watt predator generator

That's quite a list. What is your opinion on the xFactor cross members? I'm considering them on my rig since it looks like it may be a year or two before I can get IS installed. BTW, is that St. Augustine, FL? I'm in Jacksonville.

I highly recommend it, it really does seem to reduce frame flex at the axles. It’s also a job you can do yourself.
