Hello, we plan to be future Montana owners.
Hello, my wife and I are still shopping for RVs. We pretty much decided on a Montana High Country 376FL. We both have jobs that allow us to work from home (sometimes), that combined with some vacation days we are hoping to have an adventure working and vacationing from our RV.
Our plan is to purchase in January or February. Until then I'm just researching what we need and what truck to buy. I get a discount on Ford Trucks so I'll probably get a new F350 as well.
I have a lot of experience towing trailers, mostly bumper pull or gooseneck. Towing a 5th wheel and towing a camper will be a new experience.
I hope to find some good information here. Let me know if there are any must read threads. Thanks, Jim

Welcome to the forums and good success on your future purchase.
The MHC 376FL is a pretty impressive trailer. When we purchased ours 2 years ago, the 376FL did not exist. If it did, I think we would have snatched it up. We chose our 375FL because of the second door being on the opposite side. We use the opposite side door much, much more than the main entry door. The way I park the camper at home, the back door on the drivers side is the front. When camping, the main front door on the passenger side is the front. For us, the door on the opposite side serves a great function, and the option to park facing forward or backward and always have a facing "front" is priceless!
You'll absolutely love that front living room. Having the living room upstairs is really awesome. When you look out the windows, you see the tops of cars, the top of people heads, and you are literally looking down on the world. It's awesome! Windows in ALL directions.
And your model has something ours does not... that loft above the main bed room. If you don't have kids, what a great place for storage. And if you do have kids, what a great place to stuff them to get them out of the way!
In other words .... yea ... I'm a bit envious of your selection! We love our and can't imagine having anything better, than maybe the 376FL.
And oh ... that kitchen ..... 100% accessible when the slides are in! 100%.

Welcome aboard! That one's bigger than our HC but we've been very happy with ours. Smart choice on the 1 ton truck as well. Make sure to run the loaded weight numbers and make sure you're within the truck's payload rating.
Good luck in your research and purchase. Make sure to do a very thorough PDI and select a dealer with a good reputation for taking good care of the customer after the sale.

We did some shopping and ended up with a Montana 3791RD with the Legacy package. My wife and I decided the extra storage on the 3791 would work better for us. The trailer should be delivered towards the end of January.

Just had a friend order an alliance. Looks like he got a good deal with the generator. Figured I would mention since you’re shopping. Happy shopping.

Thanks. We tried to get the generator but decided it was too much money for now. With the Legacy package we get generator prep, so maybe a future addition.

Due to numerous delays the 3791 we ordered won't be done until the day we are scheduled to head out on our adventure. We ended up buying a 3791 off the lot. It had the MORryde suspension so we got the disk brakes we wanted. The dealer added in the power surge protection so we got the options we cared about. Now we are getting it ready for our big trip.

Welcome aboard - we have a little sister, 373RD. Which MorRyde suspension did the unit come with? Do you know which surge suppressor the dealer added?
