I built some stuff to tie down the awning on my 35 ft Windjammer, the trailer I had before I got my Montana.
Limb supports, extensions on them, ratchet straps.
Had awning tilted for water runoff.
Huge storm came out of nowhere (It was Florida), I couldn't even go outside.
Water weight on my awning broke one of the poles and ripped my awning.
I don't tie down the awning on the Montana. Close as I come are the bungee cords attached to my shade cloth and when the wind gets up we unzip the shade cloth and roll up the awning.
