Hanging Low
2013 Montana. I have noticed for a while now my Montana sits low on the drivers side when hooked up to the truck.
On that side is the kitchen, entertainment center, bedroom slide out. I have looked at suspension and see no breaks. Is this normal?

No I don't believe it is. How much difference are you seeing side to side.

I would look very carefully and compare the suspension on that side to the same on the other side and see if you can detect any differences in the way each sits.

I would look Very carefully at the rubber shear spring on that side. My second shear on that side split at the top, making it hard to see the separation between rubber and "supposed" to be bonded steel plate on the thing.

Contrary to the above posts, it is a normal occurrence. IMHO its not right, nor should it be this way. It is what it is. But think about it. On my 3455sa, there are 3 slides on the drivers side that contain all the heavy things. Fridge/stove/water heater/furnace/fire place/microwave/the kitchen and most of the cabinetry/bed slide/bathroom/in my case,4 batteries etc.
When I back my unit into my perfectly level pole building, the drivers side is around 3/4" +or- lower than the other side.
I was so worried about it, I replaced the entire suspension, spring and all. Same result afterwards.
Having the camper weighed many times conformed my suspicion. It is much heavier on the (ODS) drivers side.

I have never had a unit that did not sit level. Like Leemedic above, our driver side has everything his does minus the furnace/HWH, but do have a washer/dryer on that side. Our rig sits level on pavement, hitched and unhitched. As long as your tires are wearing evenly, and no unusual problems towing, ie sway, bounce, etc, and suspension on truck and fiver are ok, I would not worry about it.

I have 3 slides on that side and all the heavy stuff including stackable w/d and it is level. Seems something is not right.
