mystery water leak
Towing in the pouring down rain. Got to destination and a long (3 foot) section of carpet was wet in living room. It was in front of the slide out. We have sprayed water all around the slide and under the slide and on the air conditioner unit and no water. Think perhaps its the air conditioner. We have a 2016 Montana High Country model 375FL with front living room and that is where the issue is. Has anyone had a similar problem.

Welcome to the forum !!
If you would also include the model # of your coach, it may better assist in getting the correct info you seek.

Since it's a 2016 check the seals on the outside inner edge of the slide. If one of them is shot (I did have to replace them on our 2010) and one of the wiper seals doesn't get fully sealed that could be where your water is getting in. Also, welcome to the forum!

leak
On 2014 High Country we had water coming in from under edge of slide -where it met floor, when pulling in heavy rain. Just an area that didn't get sealed properly at the factory. Leak happened on first trip so we found it before any damage occurred. Everyones first place to check was top and edges of slide but leak was underneath.

When we take the slides out or in, we only move them half way in or out and then check to see if the wiper seals have flipped to the correct direction before i finish moving them completely to make sure there right. It can be a pain because it makes me go up on the roof and use the step stool inside to make sure, as we have had some wiper seals not in the correct position and driving water or rain has made it passed and in to the camper. The DW does the bedroom slide inside because she is small and can stand on the bed and reach the seals.

Check the eternabond tape on top that is put over the screws holding the 4" moulding on the outside of the slide. Ours had worn through at most of the screws and was leaking. Also check the caulking where the lower metal meets the gel coat at the bottom, there is a plastic strip covering the seam. That will get your floor wet too if the sealant fails.

Welcome to the forum. I had that on our other Montana and it was the seal under the slide.
