Aluminum skirting
Ok Keystone, here is another one. How about doing a better job attaching the aluminum skirting to the frame? My rig was less than six months old when the skirting on the rear started ripping off. I took a look at the skirting on both lengths of the rig and found several screws missing and on some the aluminum had pulled through the head of the screw because no washers were used. I also found a couple where the screw had been driven in totally missing the aluminum. Did you do this in the dark? How about a little quality control?
I fixed your poor workmanship by using new screws and washers down both sides of the rig.

Wish I had noticed before mine got ripped off on way home from Florida, bent up pretty badly, sort of re-installed with lots of silicone filling gaps until a new one can get to the dealers...
Obviously another poor workmanship/design problem issue as I'm finding out....... Not sure if the extended warranty will cover it or not......

You must have mistaken Keystone for a company that cares.

Could someone post pictures of exactly what this problem is.
I'd like to get proactive on this.
Already did the fender flare screw replacement.

If you look at mine that was torn off, you can see the holes underneath where it wraps under and is attached to the frame.. Those Self Tapping screws come loose, the aluminum skirting starts moving/working and makes the holes too big and it comes off and in my case gets torn off before I noticed that it came loose. Was driving home from Florida in a snow storm and didn't see it flopping as the wind was blowing up against that side.... New one on order, scheduled for replacement along with new black tank that is cracked on May 8th at dealer...

I used new screws (I think #14 x 3/4") and put fender washer on each.

Photos of what it looked like when I caught it, one where they missed the frame, and after the repair.

Thanks for the pictures, I wasn't sure what you were calling skirting.
This answered my question. Looks like a pretty big span between screws.
Now if the weather would cooperate I have another project.
Thanks
