Are you satisfied with your purchase?
Based on the negative comments on another thread today, let's start a new poll and ask Montana owners if they are satisfied with their purchase and experience with their units. I haven't ordered mine yet (next month), so for now I can stay neutral as to the Montana. I can say that my experiences with my previous 2014 Keystone Alpine fiver and my previous 2012 Keystone Outback travel trailer were nothing but excellent. Sure, some minor problems that I took care of myself but that's to be expected. Let's hear it from the experienced and well traveled owners how they "honestly" rate their purchases.

We have been full timing since September 1, 2010 in 3 Montanas all bought new and none of them have had to go back to the dealer. A few very minor issues with non-Montana components all corrected by me. If in the market for another 5th wheel would make a beeline back to the same dealer for another Montana!
First one was a 2008 we part timed in then a 2012 and now the current 2018.

Just picked up our 340bh. I have had to repair some wiring issues with the stereo. Had a pinched wire on the furnace causing intermittent no fires. The bedroom door would not latch closed. Other than these small issues we love it. The information given on the unit and the appliances is worthless.

This 13 3402 Big Sky is our 6th Rv and 2nd Montana. We have been Rv'ing f or over 30 years. We have been long timing for 11 years. We have sold Rv's at large RV shows. We have been to I think every brand factory in the Elkhart, Ind area. We have had problems large and small with both our Montana's. we have had extended warranties on both Montana's as well as the truck. We would not be without them. If we thought there was a better brand in our price range we would have purchased it.

Experience counts and it sounds like you have your fair share richfaa. I'll go with your advice.
As I have said many times before we selected our High Country based strictly on the basement garage. It fits our needs to near perfection. I tend to agree that Keystone products are on par with other brands of similar price and there wouldn't be so many on the road IF they didn't build at least a reasonably good unit.
Having said that, it is a brand new unit and is currently sitting at camping world--Little Rock, AR. where they are talking about removing the front cap to fix the front window which does not appear to be properly mounted (there is a large 2" gap between window and inside frame). IF Keystone doesn't give us a hard time about this one major warranty repair and IF Camping World technicians do a good job of removing and resealing the front cap (I am more than a little worried about that) then I would say we are happy with the unit. IF on the other hand, Camping World does a shabby job and Keystone does not follow up with making us whole THEN well that's another story.
In summary, very happy with the floor plan. Only time will tell about the craftsmanship.

We bought our 2015 3582RL in July of 2014 at a dealer in Michigan (yes 2000 miles from home) but the price was right. This was the second rig we had bought from them. The first was bought in October and the service was incredible. Because the season was over and they had plenty of time on their hands. Not at all the same thing when we bought in July. They did not even wash the rig till we were leaving 6 days after we took delivery. The very first morning the refrigerator quit working. It took 3 days to get them to pull a new frig out of another rig and change out ours.
But that was the dealership not Keystone. Since then I had only one small problem and our local dealer did the warranty work super fast. BUT that was in the summer and summer here in the desert is their slow time. I need a new valve for the black tank and called the same local dealer and he said see you in May. Now is their busy time, what with all the snowbirds here in town.
Just saying lots of things influences how fast a dealer can get your rig fixed.
That said I do beleave the first thing you do is check out a good dealership then the rig you want.
Ok to the question. YES I would buy another Montana in a hart beat. My experience has been nothing but positive.

Full timed for several years and have been snowbirds in Florida the last 14 years, all in Montana units. Our 2002, 2005, and 2010 were great units, virtually trouble free. 2015 not so much, with multiple warranty issues and problems. We do like the 2015, and it has been trouble free since all the repairs were finished. In my opinion Montana is a great choice within their price point. We may jump ship in the future as we are exploring a couple of other options for our next fiver.

We have had many Montanas since 2003. Looking back none of them caused us any real problems except for multiple fridge problems in our 2015.
It was a Dometic fridge so one cannot put that blame on Keystone.
We have had our current 2017 for almost a year now and have had a few minor problems promptly repaired by our dealer.
Yes we would have another in a heartbeat but this floor plan right now is perfect for us.

No. For the amount of money we spent, I expected higher quality. Too many continuing problems. Keystone is absolutely indifferent; their policy is "fix it once, if the problem comes back, tough luck". Factory has minimal quality control, depends on dealers to fix sloppy construction. Will not be buying another.
The thing is, with any other major consumer product, we would never put up with such lack of quality, why do we put up with it for travel trailers?

Just bought our used 2015 3711FL. We have been on a couple of short trips getting used to her. So far we are very happy with her.

WE love our 2008 3465. There were minor problems, which I was able to fix. The only major problem was with the decals. They furnished me with a new set after several complaints and I installed them ourselfs.

Camping worlds vary in the quality of their service.IMO if you are a good negotiator you can get a good a price there as anywhere. If you travel a lot like we do the advantage of a Camping world is they are everywhere so you have a dealer everywhere. Good luck.

Yes we do like our Montana, had some issues (as with all RV's that go down the road at 60-70mph), put about 20k on it since purchase in August of 2015. Still doing odd repairs which will continue because well....its an RV and they require constant maintenance. Overall this 3790RD is a great unit and unless a smoking deal comes along on a basement Toy Hauler with the front living room and storage under the rear bedroom we plan on keeping it for years to come.

We love our 2015 Montana 3720 RL. Bought it new from a great dealer and have had very few problems. We have over 20,000 Miles on it and spend at least seven months a year traveling with it.

Love our 2016 3950BR. We have had a few minor issues, most were taken care of promptly by dealer. Unfortunately our dealer was bought out by CW. They have had it for 2 months to replace awning that Keystone is covering. Just make sure you buy from a good dealer.

My wife and I are very happy with our purchase. We bought it at Hershey show in Oct and used it 5 weekends before we put it away for the winter. This is our 14th RV and our second 5er. So far I like all the features and fit and finish. Other than an issue getting the winterizing system to work (I ended up using my own method which I definitely hope worked since we have been near 0 for the past week. I might have an issue in the spring). The only unfortunate part of my purchase was the unit was built the week I was in Indiana at a rally. If I had done the Keystone tour I probably would have seen my unit being built. Nothing negative here
