Sleep number bed
We're considering replacing our king size mattress with a king sleep number mattress in our 3400RL. If anyone else has done so in a 3400RL, did you have any issues with the king size radius corners fitting in the bedroom? Camping World has some good deals right now, so I'd like to order this week. I'd appreciate some feedback.

We took our out queen 2 years ago, rebuilt frame and added king.
Left the plastic out of the corner where it rides on the lav.
Love the new mattress.

Don't want to scare you, but do a lot of research. We were looking at the Sleep Number beds and kept hearing about mold issues with the mattresses. Since the trailers are already humid enough, would just be worried. I know a lot of people use them, but they "lose" air when it's cold, and adding cold air and hot bodies you get moisture. Just what I've heard but google it and you will see a lot of reference to mold after you sift throught the defense ones from the company.

Slept on one since 04 with no issues, full-time at that. Had open heart surgery in January and docs said I wouldn't be able to sleep on my stomach again, but I do every night. G
BTW. Be aware that you need to lower the bed BEFORE going to higher elevations.

We have had our King size sleep number for three years and I just took it apart and inspected and its shows no signs of meldew or anything. My DW loves it and I find it comfortable enough.

We don't have a 3400 but we took out the factory king and replaced it with a sleep number queen from CW. It has the radius corners. The extra room in the bedroom makes moving around much easier. As far as sleep number beds, we have 3 and like them. We have had some moisture issues but sleep number took care of it. Can't remember what the remedy was but it has not reoccured.

We had the mold problem on our home SN bed. SN replaced the air bags and foam above no charge. They said the new bags are treated somehow. Another trick is to put a piece of the thin, plastic coated paper type drop cloth under the pillow top cover and above that top layer of foam. It stops body moisture closer to the top of the mattress so it can dry out easier and it doesn't condense on the air bags. That's been about 4 or 5 years and when we've checked no other problems.

I put a Comfortaire in my 3000RK. I got rid of my king mattress after my second trip. Since the sides are soft, I extended the platform for support. Install shelf brackets to the platform box. I have a radius bed, the platform length is a little longer than the stock platform so I cut the corner of the platform where it meets the vanity. I ran the air hoses thru pvc pipe to the out side of the platform.
