Model review
I wondered, after seeing some cosmetic problems in my 3605Rl occur, after warranty, if the factory would want to bring a selected few models into the factory for review, just to see how their assembly is working for the average user.
The trim molding around the inside of the main door had been "cut long" and a Montana dealer simply took the molding off and after breaking it, put on a new piece. Now the other side has come loose as the staples are losing their grip on the side wall.
Also I have a piece of outside molding that interferes with one of the slides. I mentioned this to the selling dealer during our "walk around" and they kind of gave me a brush off. Now that interferance has caused the rubber seal on the backside of the outside trim of the slide to have a couple of holes in it. Not that the holes are going to leak air or moisture, just the fact that it occured, and shouldn't have been alowed to happen.
Just a thought, and even though, we are full time and the manual clearly states that these units "aren't designed for long term lodging" or something like that, still I think that the company could learn from some of the problems that we seem to be having.
Thanks for listening. Hopefully someone will take this as a possitive request.
