Anti-Siphon Valve
There is a black valve (anti-siphon valve?) under the bathroom vanity sink in our Mountaineer. It has recently started to leak from the valve, spits water. We sent for a new valve from Keystone and replaced it, but it is still leaking. Has anyone had this problem and if so, how did you correct it?
Thanks......J&W

On our 3400, ours split after 2 yrs on the road, as it was installed in a bind. I did not reinstall both clamps on the input and output lines when I replaced the valve - only on one line. No problems so far.

Is the new one leaking or is it leaking at the connection?
This is for the black tank flush system so if it's going to spit it should do so only when you are flushing the tank, right?

I'm having email problems so if this is the third reply, I apologize.
The new valve is leaking from the top and I'm not sure if it leaks when I flush the black tank. I have a towel wrapped around the pipes and it appears to be damp every day. I'll check it the next time I flush the black tank.
I've been washing a load in my washer/dryer every day, do you think this could have contributed to the leak?
Thanks for your help!

Any jarring or shaking will worsen the situation. It will eventually split right at the cross piece if the same thing is happening as what happened to mine.
