Ten Minute Tech?????
We recently got a mailing from Trailer Life Books offering three volumes of Ten Minute Tech, a bunch of "time and money saving ideas from fellow campers." Considering that we have very little experience with anything beyond tent camping, would these books be a good investment for those of us of the ignorant pursuasion?

If you are a jack of all trades type person and good with your hands there are some great ideas in there. I have books 1 and 3. Actually I have two books three. I forgot I was getting one as a present and ordered one myself.
Good luck and safe towing.

Why would anybody want to pay for the type of information that we can get for free on this forum merely for the asking. On reconsideration though, I guess if we were stranded in the boonies without internet access, who would we turn to then. I can see the value but prefer the forum!!!!!!

I have them. There are some good ideas in them and they get you thinking about others. These are the same tips that appear in Trailer Life Magazine.

I have been receiving Trailer Life since 1988 and have cut out the 10 minute tips of every issue and put them in a binder. There are alot of good ideas that can save you alot of $$, time. I take the binder with me camping and share ideas with everyone I meet. Would they be a good investment -- Yes.

I too used to cut them out and save them - that was (and still is) the first page I turn to in the magazine. What used to be several pages, however, has dwindled to just one. Hmmm - has anyone ever seen these in a library?

There are some interesting and useful tips there. Some of them are brilliant solutions to non-existant problems, but I recommend the books, and have all three.

I just returned a copy to the public library. It was an older volume, however, and I was very disappointed - lots of stuff for older travel trailers. Most of the things are now either obsolete or incorporated in the newer RVs.

I gave a set of three to Paul for a gift and he says there are a lot of good ideas in them and can be used as a reference thing. I read some of them too and they do make you think. I would say they are a good gift more useful than some gifts are
