Crafts as Rally Raffle Prizes
Carol and I have been enjoying the Arts and Crafts thread of this forum since we joined the MOC. We appreciate the hard work and talent that it takes to make these items pictured regularly here. We believe that all who see these items are impressed. Tom has honored the 2008 MOC Fall Rally by offering to carve one of his famous birds and a Certificate of Authenticity and donate it to be used as a raffle prize. Would any of you other crafters be willing to do this? If so, know that we would protect it and give proper credit to the crafter(s). If you could, please contact me by PM or email at 2008mocfallrally@montanaowners.com We know that whoever wins one of these offerings will truly feel that he/she really won something special. Thanks in advance - Jim

How about a progressive quilt top to be raffled off--part of the raffle funds could go to having the top quilt finished. A long arm machine just doesn't fit in a monty!

Hi Lisa - Would you please explain that idea? Not being quilters, we do not understand.

As a decorative painter, I have donated several hand painted items in the past for rallies, have found them graciously accepted, and received voiced thank yous with lots of compliments from those who have received these items. Some were Christmas ornaments, boxes, and other miscellaneous items. I will again be bringing a few pieces to the MOC fall rally for raffle or door prizes.
