Curious to what tires are coming on the new Montana's. At one time I heard they were Sailun S637's, with the Goodyear G614's as an upgrade. My understanding now the G614's are not rated high enough for the new RVIA guidelines of 110% of axle rating. Sailun would qualify, but the G614 would come up short on rating.

I know some of the Bighorn fifth wheels come with OE Westlakes in a G rating @ 4080 lbs. @ 110 psi ST235/80/16

The vehicle manufacturer can offer the G614 as an option before first sale. That's because they are the only ones having the authority to set GAWRs. By lowering the vehicle's certified GAWRs to 6800# they could meet the 10% RVIA load capacity recommendation.

Keystone has always been very astute about manipulating GAWRs to their advantage.

Here is an example. On this certification label Keystone set the GAWRs for 7000# axles down to 6750# so they could use GY Marathon ST235/80R16 LRE tires rated at 3420#. There was no 10% RVIA recommendation in place at that time.
