Has anyone ever weighted each tire on there Montana to see how much weight is placed on each tire? Is so, where do you get it done? I went thru the truck scales and have 10,000 on the axels.. would like to know how much weight is placed on each tire..
Thanks

I have stopped at closed state scales maney times. Take your time and weigh each tire including your TV. Interesting as the weights are slightly different than the numbers when weighing individual axels or both trailer axels at the same time. Remember some of it can depend on how you load the trailer. Remember the scales I did this on size wise weigh no more than two axels at a time.

Many Escapee parks, if they advertise Smart Weigh, can weigh each wheel. Also, in years past there have been folks who can do that at the annual Rally in Goshen.

I have weighed at a truck scales. Get each axle on a different scale section. Then go thru the 2nd time (free) and do the same thing but drive off the edge and only have one side on the scale. Subtract 2nd time from first and get the 'off scale' individual weight.

We had independant suspension on our old rig and some wheels had a lot more weight than others and it wasn't the wheels we expected it to be.

I wish I had known about RVSEF sooner. I would have gotten weighed there.

I do not think they are still near Austin, Texas now but he is quick to reply.

And to DQDick, I did some rearranging after my weigh in because the refrigerator tire had the most weight on it. It really helps to get the individual tire weights so you can see what is going on with tools, and other heavy gear.
