Thermostat
We own a 2020 Montana 5ver 3121RL and I HATE were the thermostat is located for the main cabin, it's difficult to read or change without taking the top of your head off. Has anyone out there tried to move it to a different location? if yes, where to and how difficult was it?

You would have to run new control wire to the relocation area, that’s a very difficult thing to do.

If you get the MicroAire one, you'll never have to see or touch that again. I use my phone to control it and don't do anything directly on the thermostat.

Two big thumbs up for the Micro Air thermostats.......use your phone and you're done.

What Robert said. Even without the phone, it is much easier to see and operate.

We have a 2019 3120rl. I relocated the thermostat just around the corner on the end of the stubb wall that separates the pantry from the small counter where it used to be mounted. If you take the thermostat off the wall then you’ll see there is extra wire. I drilled a small hole on the end of the wall and fished it over (about 10”). It’s easier to see and operate. I, too, want a microaire but $300 a bit steep. Make sure you take a picture of the connections so it’s easy to reconnect the wires.

Me too! MicroAir is a great thermostat, worth the price! Nothing but trouble with the Dometic factory POS.
