So much negative...some good news for a change
DW and I purchased a 2019 MHC 331RL in January. After a thorough PDI that took about 2 1/2 hours where we satisfied that everything worked per specs. We brought the fiver home and proceeded to load it up and prepare for early Spring camping. I reported here on the MOC forum as I fixed a leaking pipe, adjusted a few doors for proper closing, caulked a few leaks in the basement doors, and a few other minor things. I continue to hope I have found most of the issues with this new unit.
Once May rolled around and the temps started to rise, I discovered through my own troubleshooting that our "new" Key TV Signal Controller was faulty. I contacted the dealer and explained my troubleshooting methods. They contacted Keystone and Keystone replaced it at no charge. All that was required of me was to send back the faulty one which I did. After installing the new controller, our TV's work fine.
Anyone with a new Montana with the Evergreen mattress has probably already experienced the failing mattress issue. Our mattress looks worn out after staying in our fiver less than 35 nights. My wife and I are not large people but the mattress has big divots where we both sleep. I contacted our dealer and sent them pictures of the mattress and the tags. They called me back today and Keystone is shipping us a new king size mattress to our door.
With all of the negative experiences that I read about here, I just wanted to post a positive story regarding Keystone and our Montana.
Safe travels!
