New Montana Owners
Hi All,
We are the happy owners of a brand new 2005 2955 and new on this forum. We looked at dozens of fivers, thought seriously of a couple of them but finally bit the bullet and wrote a check to Alpine RV in Morgan Hill CA. The assembly quality of Montana appears to be better that the others. We looked at some $50-60K units!
We're going camping this weekend and surprising our friends!

The name comes from our Golden Retriver. It's her middle name.

Congratulations and enjoy. We bought the same model in June and have had a great summer with it. We did the same thing as you when we got our Montana. We met friends for camping and surprised them. We are meeting the same friends this weekend. I love living where we can camp all winter, though the choice of locations is quite a bit smaller that time of year for us.

Welcome MuddyPaws! Our Golden Retriever doesn't limit her mud to the paws, she gets muddy all over. Sometime she sets a new fashion trend, dread locks for dogs!
Have fun on the forum and with the new Montana!

Muddypaws, good choice of names. We have a yellow lab (100lbs) and when travelling south in Dec. it is amazing how much dirt and grime comes in...we spread cardboard inside the door to help a little....guess I can't blame the dog entirely; I've got big fee as well

Muddypaws -
Congrats on the new unit. I think that you will find a majority of Montana owners are dog owners. Someone made the comment that they were at a rally for another brand and there were about 2,000 units and no dogs. At the rally this past year there were lots of dogs. Hope to meet you in the future.
