Keeping cabinets closed?
What do you all use to keep your cabinets from opening when on the road?
On our previous TT we had knobs on the cabinets so we found that small elastic bands worked the best. But with our new Monte we no longer have any knobs but rather handles.
Any ideas?

We use velcro strips, I picked up several feet of 1" wide HD strip at a sewing center and cut it to whatever length I want for the handles, they are also great for hoses and electrical cords, never had a cupboard come open when using them.

I found some velcro ties on Amazon and we've used them for the last several years.

we use the children cabinet locks and put it through the door pulls for the dubble doors, and the single doors we use the hook catch. so far so good no more crock pots flying out of the cabinets after a bump in the road.

I have not had any trouble . I aligned the drawer and cabinet latches when it was new and no trouble since. The latches do need to be centered very well.

We use the short red bungees with balls on all doors that could hang on a slide when opening. On the desk drawers I put a screw under the leg space and hook the ball of bungee in drawer handle and loop other end on screw. I also adjusted some of the latches when we got the trailer, but have still had some come open. Only takes a couple of minutes to secure doors and could avoid a disaster if one that you can't see when slides open happened to open in travel and then snagged on slide when opening.

We use short bungee cords that wrap around the handles 2 or 3 times.

We used mini-bungees on our previous 3400 since there was the chance of an open cabinet door interacting with a slide. Our 3750 current model, we have yet to use anything since the slides and the doors and drawers cannot hit each other.

Wow! Thanks everyone for your great ideas!
I just purchased 100 Velcro® Cable Ties (½" x 8") from Amazon Prime delivered to my door for less than $7. Perfect!

When we first got the rig and on the first few trips, we'd find some cabinet doors open and contents on the floor. I checked every door and found I did have to realign some of the fasteners (not done right at the factory) but after that NO problems. If we can, we are also careful to put heavy stuff near the hinge side of a cabinet door versus the center, but I can't say this is required, but it just made sense.

We use some of those prepackaged velcro strips that come xx strips to the package. They're the ones with the slot in one end to loop the other end through. They can't very easily come loose.
We've never really had a problem with the cabinet doors but have heard the horror stories. We have some doors we cannot see when the slides are closed and they'd be damaged should they be open when the slides are extending. We're going to be pro-active on this, not relying on luck or something that may or may not hold. My pocketbook appreciates that.
--edited-- that link Fire5er posted is what we use, too. We sometimes find them at Walmart, sometimes other places. The ones CW has are longer and we like those better than the shorter ones some Walmarts have.

We started out with the Velcro strips and are moved to the bungee cords with the ball on the end. They are actually used to loop through the grommets on tarps to connect other tie downs to them. We've purchased two sizes since some of our door handles are space further apart. We use both the 4" and 6" bungee balls. I've purchase some from Harbor Freight and also some from flea markets along our journeys across the US. WARNING-- if you use the bungee ball fasteners-- make sure they are not to small. If you stretch them to put them on and go to take them off and don't have a good handle on them they will snap open and possibly hit the glass in the door and even crack or break it!
