Slideout shear pin
If you break a shear pin on your slideout how do you get it back in sync? I have had my slideout break two pins. Should they measure the same distance when in the out position? I checked to see if there is something wrong , but can't see any thing that would cause this. 2005 big sky.

Jim,
If you run the slide all of the way in (you can push the lagging side manually) you should be able to line up the holes and insert a new pin/bolt. Or, if it's out, take a tape measure and measure both ends from the wall to get them even. Some one will have to "bump" the switch to line up the holes (small phillips screwdriver helps) and insert your pin/bolt. Good luck. BTW, it does happen to many of us, once in a while.

Brain-dead, I posted about the landing legs, so as long as I looked up the picture, I'll post it elsewhere.
On topic, we should all have spares on hand for the shear-pin.
