Hello All
I have a brand new 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 Quad SB with a 5.9L HO Cummins Turbo Diesel engine, only 1000 miles on it. Well, me and the misses are traveling from NY to FL, and 400 miles into our trip, the engine light came on, and my ram suffered a power loss. The next day, we took it to the local Dodge Dealer, the hooked it up to their computer, and found the Output Sensor was bad, and replaced it. We were on our way, for 100 miles anyway, then, the same thing happened. Now, the local Dodge dealer is having trouble finding out what is wrong, and we are stuck in VA. One question that came up was towing in Overdrive. I did on lever grades with my old Dodge 2500 HEMI with my camper, no problem, and I did with this on level grade. There were no trany shifts at all, so I cant see that causing this, but if anyone had advise, experienced this, or any insight, please email me directly at
sfd124@earthlink.net as I have limited access to the internet ( The data jack in my new 2004 Montana 3650 RK is not working either LOL I am having a great vacation)
Thanks
Ed
