Final Report (I hope) - Frame Repair
I have a 2002 3295RK (3 slides) and have made several reports on my sad saga. To recap I noteced a small separation beginning to occur directly below the expansion joint below the bottom forward bedroom slide corner.
A Montana dealer in San Antonio TX looled at it and advised me to have it fixed as it could be caused by a frame problem. As I was just returning from an outing and the rig hadn't beed cleaned or winterized I waited for 1 week to return it to the dealer in SAT.
Cutting to the chase - The bedroom slide had to be removed to replace a bent and gouged frame - the replacement parts are quite a lot beefier - tells me that the original parts were inadequate.
The problem I had actually brought the rig in for ended up being a non problem.
Dealer Recommendation: TEX-ALL Boat and RV on the north side of San Antonio did a great job combined with good customer service. They went to bat for me and it appears they were successful getting some warranty help on this used rig.
I am very disappointed with Keystone as several calls and letters were ignored. Buyer Beware !!!
