Freeze Guard System
He'p!! In all the dead trees that Keystone packed with my 2011 3455SA Montana, there is no mention of the captioned system much less instructions on how to use it. I have searched without success for instructions and only get generics. If you have this system on board and use. it please tell me how. This will be the first year we do not go south and it gets cold in Poughkeepsie.

I drain my fresh water tank. Open low point drains. Take out the heater anode and turn the water heater bypass on. Hook a 2-3' hose to fresh water and water pump om. Stick the hose into RV antifreeze and run all faucets etc. to pump the pink stuff throughout! Two to 3 gallons should do you!

I just did mine today. After reading all the stuff on MOC. Used a compressor and blew water through the lines. Cut a hose and hooked it up to the winterize spigot. I had already drained the hot water tank and put it on by pass. Drained fresh water tank. Also flipped switch to winterized. Turned in pump and did all the faucets, toilet etc.. Until I saw pink. Pump pumped and everything seemed to work. I see someone said they hooked it to the freshwater inlet. I guess that works but I got pink using the freeze guard inlet. Based on seeing the anti freeze I suppose I did it right.

Oh, this is really sad, talking about shutting rigs down for the season. We are in central California, and it's still running around 100 degrees. I guess with school back in session, it really is the end of summer for a lot of folks.

Bob and Becky, Yes wife is a social worker in school and and just got back from Eastern Wa and Idaho vacation. Cleaned it up and unfortunately put her up for now. Smoke was tough in Wa and Idaho. 20 months to retirement and then wintering south. That is if the market doesn't keep tanking.

One would think that keystone would put an instruction sticker next to this feature in all the rigs. Plumbing and I do not get along so, I wanted to make sure rather than experiment. Once again my thanks to all of you in the forum. As they say in Georgia, "God willing and the creek don't rise" I hope to meet some of you at the 2016 rally.
