If I could work things out I could probably stay FREE at 1000 Trails CGs once or twice a month for the rest of my life with just the emails and never actually joining.

Anyway I get these emails on a very regular basis just because somewhere down the line they got my email addy. By the way, this particular email addy is one I deliberately use at RV shows and anywhere else that an email is required. Over the years you would be surprised the kind of junk I get.

If anyone wants a FREE stay you are welcome to use the W221 or W347 as I don't plan on wasting my time.

Thanks Glenn,

I get these offers all the time and I tempted to take them up on it but would never consider 8000 just to camp. Mybe someday I will just to stop the e-mails.

You will be subject to a very high pressure sales pitch to join and if you don't they will be very unhappy. We did this a couple of times and said thanks we will take our free gift and see you later..they were not amused.Strangely we have not had any "letters' from them since. We also use a separate E mail address and an alias for these type things. It is a good way to get some free camping if you can stand the sales harassment. I figure it is a payback for them hasseling us.,,

I personally disagree about the "high pressure" sales pitch. We were told about the plans available and were left on our own to make up our minds. We opted for the plan we have about one week after we had heard the sales pitch. And then we purchased from a different place. I think a sales pitch is what you make it. I'm a really hard sell case as I always try to go in with an open mind, even when I buy an RV or tow vehicle.

Incidentally, if you take them up on one of their free offers, that will be the only one you get. We have an offer from Western Horizons for the same kind of deal. And, because it's free, we'll take them up on it. This one even offers two free steak dinners!
