3121 Awning led not working

Hi,

Model: 2022 3121RL montana.

For the sake of brevity, here's the summary. The led lights come on for one of the awnings (the one on top of the door), but the other set of awning led lights (kitchenn table) don't come on. I've checked the voltage to the led and there's nothing. I checked the slide-out junction and still no voltage. I did a continuity test at ground level and ok. I suspect a bad connection at the BCM or a 5amp fuse hidden in the corner of the breaker or BCM. Anyone have a suggestion. I'm at this stage.

I took possession of the equipment last May and the led never worked.

Thank you for your help.

Welcome to the MOC.

I fear that you have a connection problem to that awning LED strip somewhere in the wire run. Since there is no schematic, it's going to be tough to isolate. I'm not sure where they run the wiring for the slide awnings but mine has a black plastic what I assume is a wiring junction box in the left lower corner of the slide. Might look for something like that and open it up. Let us know what you find and good luck.

After several hours of research (8 hours), everything possible undone to test without destroying anything, I found the source of the problem. Note to self-interested parties: a burnt-out fuse behind the in-command controller, hidden between the cover and the board. Fuse 3 amp that I changed. How to explain this on a new unit that I took possession of last May. 3121RL Montana 2022. Bravo for the quality control. I just want to punch them .....
The dealer couldn't find it and I had to go back which is really a bunch of trouble ...... Here's the result of my work.
