Intermittent water leak from shower

2007 3400RL. About two years ago while on a trip we noticed water at the base of the stairs late in the day after we had showered. Took the access panels off of the shower base and ran water several times-could not find any problems. Took the trailer to our regular RV repair guys and they could not find anything but recaulked the inside of the shower to be safe. On a long trip now and on about day 3 same problem recurred. Since it was going to be three weeks before we got home we tried to minimize it by making sure we kept the shower spray away from the shower wall toward the kitchen (where the water leak was occuring). Water leak has stopped. I'm hoping it is due to the shower needed to be resealed/caulked again. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

sure it's the shower and not toilet. some of the flush valves leak. I had a Dometic that occasionally the foot flush would overfill the bowl

You haven't flushed your black tank recently by chance? The anti-siphon valve for the black tank flush is behind the shower wall on the kitchen side. They fail and in a 2007, you are over due. A leaky valve manifests itself by the kitchen wall on a 3400.

Good points. 1) Replaced the OEM Thetford with the MOC recommended Dometic 320 and never a leak. Plus the water leak is occurring directly under the kitchen wall that is the back of the shower whereas the toilet is across the the way. 2) I replaced the black tank anti-siphon valve many years ago after reading about it on the MOC website; and I flush the black tank every time we move and have never had the leak happen afterwards.
