All of them that I have seen are wired that way. The battery cut off switch in the wet bay is in line after the leveling/slide out hydraulic pump. It also does not shut off the power to the carbon monoxide & propane detectors. Yes, all of those things have a small "keep alive" memory/sensing draw that will kill your battery over the course of a couple of days, to a week or two, depending on the size & health of your battery(ies). Many of us have installed a true disconnect switch right at the battery that truly will kill ALL power from the battery. Just be sure that noone will be occupying the trailer while the switch is turned off, for the above mentioned reasons.
