Mysterious capped drain?
Thoughts? We just bought our 4th Montana (a 3721RL) and I went underneath to check tightness on all the bolts and nuts. I discovered a capped drain line near the axles square in the middle 4 feet from either side. It looks just like the capped fresh water tank drain. Galley tank drain? The usual galley tank valve operated by the T-handle at the edge is working. The first light on the galley tank level sensor does seem to light up sooner than I expect.
I didn't take the cap off because I didn't want a face and shirt full of whatever is in that line.
Is it an inaccessible low point drain?
Why is it there?

If like mine it is the drain for your ice maker line. Used for winterizing.

Thanks, WeBeFulltime
Given the icemaker drain clue from WeBeFulltime, a search confirms it is probably that. The drain is about underneath the island where the sink and one valve to the icemaker is. In the 3721 the residential fridge is on a slide. During the PDI, the tech showed me under the slide the white hose I can disconnect to drain the icemaker. I don't remember him pointing to a drain out of reach in the middle of the underbelly. I will look under the sink when I go back to storage to see if I can find a drain hose going down.
If this is true, what a horrible place to put a drain. It's hard to reach and requires crawling over gravel in my storage spot. When winterizing, do people drain water from this drain hose in addition the the hose under the slide?
Thanks, Jerry

Yes. The ice maker supply is the only thing we winterize being full timers.
