I just recently added a SIM to the Winegard. I found that setting up was easier with laptop. There is a 2022 update I found on Winegard website that I installed. That also might help. I basically followed the steps in the manual to get the SIM working.

I have FireTV, AppleTV, iN·Command, iPad all connected to the Winegard Wifi. The Winegard is on the ATT network. No issues all week.

On IPhone when I have issues, I close the app, go into settings and connect wifi to the Winegard SSID, then start the app. It usually works then. I only use the app when scanning for a Wifi network to connect.
