What would you do?

There is something to be said by having a trusted mechanic working on your equipment. As full timers I don't have that luxury and most campgrounds will kick you out for doing an oil change in their campground so I have to use services which until we went fulltime I performed myself. I only use the Ford dealers as I have had an oil pan destroyed by a quick change oil place on our company van and would not stand by their work. The Chrysler dealer was more than happy to charge me $600 to replace it. So I believe its a comfort level thing. Bear in mind even the dealers put the least qualified mechanics on oil change duty! So your milage may vary as they say. Had a friend have her oil changed at a dealer on her chevy and the oil plug fell out on the way home, destroyed the engine, luckily they stood by it and replaced the engine. I don't believe it will make any difference in the end if your a few miles over the interval.
